Project Preparation and Evaluation Training Held
On June 12, 2025, an event titled “Project Preparation and Project Evaluation” was held in collaboration with Tavşanlı Faculty of Applied Sciences, the District Directorate of National Education, and the Tavşanlı Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The training featured Abdullah Şahin, Expert at the Turkish National Agency, and Damla Erdem, Assistant Expert, as guest speakers.
During the session, participants were informed about the general objectives, target groups, and opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program. Various project types under the Erasmus+ framework were introduced, including Learning Mobility of Individuals (KA1), Cooperation Partnerships (KA2), Support for Policy Development (KA3), Jean Monnet Activities, and Sport Projects. Detailed information was provided on the scope, objectives, application requirements, and evaluation criteria of each project type. In addition, practical guidance was offered on how to apply for Erasmus+ projects, the key considerations during the application process, and the use of online application platforms.
Common mistakes in applications, important points in budget planning, and strategies for building effective project partnerships were discussed, along with recommendations on selecting the appropriate application channel for each project type. To promote more effective utilization of opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ program, the speakers also addressed topics such as quality project writing, needs analysis, goal setting, the logical framework approach, and evaluation criteria. It was emphasized that project preparation is not merely a technical process but should also incorporate principles of social impact, inclusivity, and sustainability.
The training concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the speakers by Prof. Dr. Aydın Kayabaşı, Dean of the Faculty, and Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Aslı Boru İpek and Dr. Lecturer Harika Özkan.
