Our Department of Management and Information Systems Will Begin Admitting Students

The Department of Management and Information Systems at T.C. Kütahya Dumlupınar University Tavşanlı Faculty of Applied Sciences is Excited to Welcome Its First Students in the 2025–2026 Academic Year Fall Semester

Our department stands out with its young and dynamic academic staff specialized in the fields of computer and industrial engineering. Our faculty members aim to provide students with a rich and inclusive learning experience that opens the doors to the world of information technologies. Our primary goal is to equip students with a solid foundation in management information systems and prepare them for a successful career with confidence and competence.

Management Information Systems is a contemporary discipline that harmoniously integrates information technologies with business dynamics. Our curriculum has been carefully designed to include courses that form the core of both artificial intelligence–oriented information systems and business fields. It also incorporates both General English and Professional English courses. Through Professional English, students will effectively acquire the terminology and language skills specific to the Management Information Systems field.

Our educational philosophy is based on an integrated approach that blends theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Thanks to applied training opportunities, students will gain close insight into the industry and the business world, enabling them to step into professional life as well-equipped and self-confident individuals after graduation. In this context, through the “Professional Training in Business” course offered in the 8th semester, students will gain hands-on experience in real-world projects and integrate directly into the business environment.

Graduates of the Department of Management and Information Systems can be employed in public institutions as well as in national and international private organizations in various positions such as Management Information Systems Specialist, System Analyst and Designer, Enterprise Resource Planning Specialist, Software Developer, Sales and Marketing Specialist, Business Development Expert, and Project Manager.

The program is located in close proximity to provinces with various industrial organizations and benefits from the presence of a Technopark within our university. To ensure full employment opportunities for our students, collaboration protocols have been signed with three different Chambers of Industry and Commerce, with plans to increase the number of these agreements in the near future.

If you want to shape your future, join us on this path that unites information technologies and business!
