Faculty Introduction
Founded in 2013 as the DPU Tavşanlı School of Tourism and Hotel Management, our school has been operating as the Tavşanlı Faculty of Applied Sciences since 2019. Our faculty features a 178-seat conference hall, a 162-seat lecture hall, 17 classrooms with 60 seats each, a 42-seat computer lab, a 42-seat foreign language lab, a forecourt kitchen lab, a service and bar lab, a food and beverage service application lab, a cold storage facility, an accommodation lab, a canteen, a library, and a dining hall.
The faculty campus also houses the Credit and Dormitories Institution Arslanbey Student Dormitory, which has a capacity of 556 students.
Our faculty logo was inspired by the Ehrami pine, an endemic plant of the Tavşanlı region. The Ehrami pine in our logo, with its distinctive upward-pointing branches, symbolizes books, pens, and our school's professors. The flying birds symbolize our students who have completed their education.
