Roadmap for Bringing the Historical Houses of Tavşanlı into Tourism: The Case of Amasya Houses” was held at the Tavşanlı Faculty of Applied Sciences. The project, carried out by the Tourism Trip and Socialization Community under the supervision of Dr. Lecturer Harika Özkan, was successfully completed.

The event was attended by Mehmet Ali Akar, Deputy Mayor of Tavşanlı; Prof. Dr. Aydın Kayabaşı, Dean of the Faculty; Mustafa Sert, Director of the Tavşanlı Youth Center; Raşit Refik Küçükkağnıcı, District Director of National Education; and İbrahim Akpınar, Secretary General of the Tavşanlı Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uğur Ceylan, Head of the Department of Tourism Management, participated as a speaker. Following the opening, students involved in the project delivered a comprehensive presentation on their fieldwork and project outcomes. The program concluded with a brief speech by Deputy Mayor Mehmet Ali Akar, who shared his reflections on the project.

This project is regarded as a significant initiative aimed at highlighting Tavşanlı’s cultural heritage and enhancing the region’s local tourism potential.
