Projects Supported By TÜBİTAK and The Ministry of Youth and Sports By Our Faculty’s Academicians and Students Featured in The Press

Projects prepared by our faculty members and students, which have been approved for support by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and TÜBİTAK, have attracted significant attention in the local media.

Under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı Boru İpek, the project titled “An Integrated Approach to Identifying and Evaluating Core Technologies and Opportunities in Tourism 5.0”—conducted by Feyza Nur Güder (project leader) and Sıla Çelebi, Tuana Doğan, and Nur Sema Sun (researchers) from the Department of Tourism Management—and the project titled “The Importance of Local Governments’ Projects in Promoting Local Food Products: The Case of Gastro İnegöl”—led by Bilal Ateş from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts under the supervision of Res. Asst. Kübra Kırbaç—were both selected for funding within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Research Projects Support Program for Undergraduate Students.

Additionally, the project titled “Developing a Roadmap for the Integration of Historical Houses into Tourism: The Case of Amasya Houses,” prepared by the Tourism Trip and Socialization Community under the supervision of Dr. Lecturer Harika Özkan, received national-level support, while the project “Zero Waste from Generation to Generation,” developed by the Gastronomy Community under the supervision of Res. Asst. Kübra Kırbaç, received local-level support.

These projects were also featured in local media outlets. Journalists Tuna İşleyen and Recep Korkut visited our Faculty to conduct interviews with the supervising academicians and project leaders. Through these interviews, the objectives, scope, and expected outcomes of the projects were conveyed to the public in detail.
