A Conference On “Meat and Butcher Products“ Was Held At Our Faculty

On April 20, 2026, a conference on "Meat and Butcher Products" was held at our Faculty, organized by the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, with the participation of Mr. Abdurrahman Şirin, founder of Tavşanlı Şirin Et Entegre.
At the event, our gastronomy students had the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge about the processes of the sector, from production to carcass, and to hear about professional experiences directly from an expert in the field.
The conference concluded with our Dean, Prof. Dr. Aydın Kayabaşı, and the Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Eren, presenting the speaker with a certificate of appreciation and a gift.
